LSD One of my favorite. It’s experimental and dark. One track features hip hop instrumentals wich really fits the vibe. I really like the guitar riffs on this album. Dark and heavy.

K.F.R fait appel à l'Opus Magnum Studio de Déhà pour NIHILIST et le résultat est encore plus malsain. Les instruments, bien mis en valeur, ont plus d'impact que par le passé, mais c'est la voix de Maxime Taccardi qui se détache le plus (écoutez la quatrième piste pour vous faire une idée).

Il le dit lui-même : he doesn't give a fuck. Favorite track: All I See is You.

Evan Hughes I have been a fan for a long time of this fellows art in all forms. Not to take anything away from his previous efforts which are all unique and dark works on their own. However this album is stellar. This is the result of a dedicated and talented individual honing their craft again. and again. If you dig dark music and art get this. I will be listening to this over and over for quite some time!

MMXX marks the return of the entity known as *K.F.R* with a brand-new
album rightfully titled /Nihilist/ and proudly released by *Purity
Through Fire*.

For the first time in almost 10 years, this album was properly mixed and
mastered in a real studio, the Opus Magnum Studio owned by Déhà in
Belgium. And you can hear the difference without altering the
overwhelming feeling of darkness that's the signature sound of *K.F.R*.
In fact, /Nihilist/ is even darker than the previous releases...

It is also the most personal one, as mainman Maxime Taccardi dealt with
his own demons in it. Some of the songs are autobiographical, like "I'm
a Sick Painter" or Insect Boy," and while being black metal to its core,
/Nihilist/ manages to go beyond that by exploring different territories
and reflects more on the psyche of the audience. *K.F.R* has always been
a long journey of experimentations, and /Nihilist /feels like the
achievement of all those years of musical and philosophical research.

On the 30th of June, prepare for something out of the box in the
well-known French black metal scene and dare to delve into the depths of
the sick painter behind *K.F.R*. /Nihilist /will be released on A5
digipack and gatefold double-LP vinyl formats, with the latter version
including a demo bonus.

Je vois en Seppuku le plus parfait miroir à KATANA. Ce dernier faisait la peinture de samouraïs qui, ennoblis par le sens du sacrifice personnel, obtenaient le droit d'admirer les étoiles. La pochette, grâce au vent, était animée. Dans Seppuku, c'est tout l'inverse : l'homme est prostré, regarde le sol. Le black metal de Kyūketsuki est angoissé, comme apeuré par la défaite. L'acte du Seppuku ne suffira pas à laver l'honneur : après la mort, il est plonge en enfer, pourchassé par les démons. Jordan Vauvert

Comme une ombre au tableau... C'est dans Krónos que Saturnian Tempel trouve sa vraie raison d'être puisque Maxime Taccardi reprend sur la pochette Saturne dévorant un de ses fils mais en inversant les couleurs : c'est le blanc qui domine et il met en valeur une ombre qui n'appartient pas au titan, qui le menace — même les tout-puissants ne sont pas invincibles. Si le black metal ambiant de Krónos est cosmique, c'est parce qu'il met au jour une puissance mortifère incommensurable. Œuvre immense. Jordan Vauvert
